Our vision
Interstellar Development: Free Software is our passion
We started this group to better organise our efforts to make free and open source software more efficient, especially games. We did this because current free software games are either bad or simply do not exist.
We are specifically targeting games that are unplayable on GNU/Linux and FreeBSD systems, or are in desperate need of a free software alternative, but we also have some other side projects that aren't related to games, and we plan to expand our reach into different areas of software.
We here at Interstellar Development truly believe that the only way to achieve freedom for computer users is to use free software, so we are committed to licensing all of our projects under copyleft free and open source software licences to ensure that our games remain free for everyone to play, forever.
We are not currently accepting donations, but if you would like to support us, please consider helping us find problems and/or improvements that we could fix/make.
If you still want to donate money, please consider donating it to the Free Software Foundation, without them we would not be here to make these games.
